HiLung Head of Translational Science Toshio Suzuki Delivers Invited Symposium Talk at the 2024 Joint Meeting of the Japanese Society of Patient-Derived Cancer Models and the Japanese Society for Human Cell Research

HiLung Inc. is pleased to announce that Toshio Suzuki, Head of Translational Science at HiLung, delivered an invited symposium presentation at the 2024 Joint Meeting of the Japanese Society of Patient-Derived Cancer Models and the Japanese Society for Human Cell Research, held in Tokyo on August 21, 2024.
The presentation was titled “Human iPSC-Derived Lung Organoid Platform for Drug Discovery and Toxicology: A Spatial Omics-Enabled Platform” and was delivered as part of Symposium 1-2.
In this presentation, Dr. Suzuki introduced HiLung’s platform that integrates human iPSC-derived lung organoid technology with spatial omics analysis to enable high-resolution assessment of disease mechanisms, cell–cell interactions, drug responses, and toxicity in human-relevant respiratory disease models.
Through the development of advanced respiratory disease models that better reflect human biology, HiLung remains committed to accelerating drug discovery, supporting translational research, and advancing next-generation safety assessment technologies in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies and academic partners.
