To accelerate the practical application of new technologies developed at our Kyoto headquarters, we established a dedicated Translational Science division in 2024 at Mitsui Link Lab in Kashiwa-no-ha, Chiba Prefecture. In connection with this initiative, an interview featuring our Executive Director, Dr. Suzuki, and Scientist Harry has been published by Mitsui.
Kashiwa-no-ha is a rapidly developing area where a growing number of medical and biotech companies have recently clustered. (For more details, please see our interview in Nikkei Newspaper .) The area is known for its dynamic collaborations among academia, industry, and government, creating a unique innovation ecosystem.
At HiLung, we are also actively working to invigorate the drug discovery ecosystem —particularly in the field of respiratory diseases—through strategic research and industry engagement from our base in Kashiwa-no-ha.
