HiLung Inc. is pleased to announce that Toshio Suzuki, Director / Head of Translational Science at HiLung, delivered a lecture at Genome School 2025, hosted by the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo, on October 24, 2025.
The lecture was titled “Development of Intractable Respiratory Disease and Lung Cancer Models for Drug Efficacy and Toxicity Assessment Using Human iPSC-Derived Lung Organoids and Immune Cell Co-Culture.”
The lecture was held at the University of Tokyo Yaesu Academic Commons. In this session, Dr. Suzuki introduced HiLung’s efforts to develop human-relevant preclinical models for intractable respiratory diseases and lung cancer by integrating human iPSC-derived lung organoids with immune cell co-culture systems.
These platforms are designed to support the analysis of disease mechanisms, cell–cell interactions, therapeutic responses, and toxicity in respiratory disease and lung cancer models.
